Quilted Border Beauties 27, 28 from Virtual Quilter

Interesting. Well, the cat thinks so.

I love the second one, even if the cat thinks it is boring.

Quilted Border Beauties 25, 26 from Virtual Quilter

Pretty and dainty.

Because I share my bed with my husband this is not the sort of design or colour combination I could use on our bed, but I can design as many of this style and colouring as I like.

I have never lived with an indoor cat but every so often one gets to admire my quilt designs.

If it wasn’t just a virtual design I would love this on a bed.

I like it, though I will point out that the gold bits, except the sleeping cat, are meant to look like quilting motifs.

Love the first, and so does the cat.

I was thinking of a small quilt when I designed the second one, but I think it would look great on a double, queen or king size bed with that large centre block, and it would be worth playing with other big blocks.

Love the last, and so does the cat.

I love it!

Love this one too.

I like the effect of the broken border of small crosses. I have used that border before but spaced as they are around the corner all the way round, and liked them that way, but also like them alternated with the inner border. I have also used them spaced as they are here before. Another thing I noticed with a quick glance is that the grape vine almost appears as a separate border to the grapes. That would probably change if the grapes were not so ripe!
