Pretty and dainty.
Because I share my bed with my husband this is not the sort of design or colour combination I could use on our bed, but I can design as many of this style and colouring as I like.
I have never lived with an indoor cat but every so often one gets to admire my quilt designs.

Interesting. The gold quilting still looks more like applique, but there is some purple which looks like hand quilting! Will have to do some experiments to see what I can do to make it work out the way I want it too.
In the meantime, my favourite of these two is the second one.

Love the first, and so does the cat.
I was thinking of a small quilt when I designed the second one, but I think it would look great on a double, queen or king size bed with that large centre block, and it would be worth playing with other big blocks.

Love this one too.
I like the effect of the broken border of small crosses. I have used that border before but spaced as they are around the corner all the way round, and liked them that way, but also like them alternated with the inner border. I have also used them spaced as they are here before. Another thing I noticed with a quick glance is that the grape vine almost appears as a separate border to the grapes. That would probably change if the grapes were not so ripe!
